How much does pest control cost?
Recurring pest control from Alabama Termite & Pest Services costs $39 to $109 per month, depending on the plan. Most homes start for $69 with a 12-month agreement. Termite protection costs $30 per month after a one-time $499 setup that includes inspection and 14 to 16 Trelona bait stations.
Every price on this page applies to standard homes with normal pest activity. Larger homes, active infestations, and specialty pests are priced after the inspection.

The promotional start is for homeowners enrolling in an ongoing Safeguard plan. It is not a one-time treatment price.

You choose. The promotional start comes with a 12-month agreement. If you would rather not commit, month-to-month service is available at the regular initial price. Your monthly rate is the same either way.

- Your agreement transfers to the buyer if you sell your home.

The $499 termite setup still applies. Plus and Deluxe keep the $129 start because of the rodent station setup. The bundled pest plan is a 12-month agreement. If you cancel it early, the fee is the initial you saved: $199 on Basic or Pro, $170 on Plus or Deluxe.

Pest Plans
How much does pest control cost per month?
Safeguard plans cost $39, $49, $89, or $109 per month. Basic and Plus are quarterly service. Pro and Deluxe are monthly service.
What does the $69 start cover?
Your first service on Safeguard Basic or Pro, for standard homes of about 1,500 to 2,500 square feet with normal household pest activity. It requires a 12-month agreement. It does not cover German cockroaches, fleas, active indoor rodents, or severe infestations.
Why do Plus and Deluxe cost $129 to start?
Both plans include setup of two exterior rodent bait stations at your first visit.
Is there a contract?
The promotional start comes with a 12-month agreement. If you prefer no commitment, month-to-month service is available at the regular initial: $199 for Basic or Pro, $299 for Plus or Deluxe.
What happens if I cancel early?
If you cancel a 12-month plan early, you pay back the discount on your start: $130 on Basic or Pro, $170 on Plus or Deluxe. If your pest initial was waived in a termite bundle, the fee is $199 on Basic or Pro.
What if I see pests between visits?
Call the office and we come back at no charge. Give the last treatment 14 days first, since most products need that long to work.
Termite Protection
Why is there a $499 setup fee?
We buy our bait stations outright. We do not lease them from a manufacturer. The setup fee covers your full inspection, 14 to 16 Trelona stations, and professional installation around your home. As a smaller, family-run company, this is how we keep your monthly protection at $30. The stations remain our property, and we maintain them as part of your plan.
Is the $30 a month a payment plan for the stations?
No. The $30 monthly charge pays for ongoing monitoring, bait maintenance, and re-treatment. The stations stay the property of Alabama Termite & Pest Services.
What if you find active termites?
The $499 setup does not apply to homes with active termite activity. Active termites need their own treatment, and we give you that price after the inspection.
Does termite protection cover damage repair?
No. Coverage is re-treatment only. If termites return while you are covered, we re-treat at no charge. Repair of damaged wood is not included.
Does my termite agreement transfer if I sell my home?
Yes. Your termite agreement transfers to the buyer.
