How We Work

What You Can Expect From Us

Communication Matters

When you have a question, we want you to get an answer quickly. When we find something at your property, we want to explain what we found and why it matters. When service is done, we want you to understand what was done. Good pest control is not just the treatment. It is keeping you informed and making it easy to work with us.

Consistent Service

Our technicians follow the same service process on every visit. Your experience should not depend on which technician shows up. Our goal is for every customer to receive the same dependable service, every time.

Honesty Comes First

We recommend what fits your property. We would rather tell you that you do not need a service than sell you one. If there is a simpler option, we explain it. We want to earn long-term customers through honesty and trust, not pressure.

Built for the Future

Pest control has changed a lot since 1963, and we change with it. We invest in modern treatment methods like monitored termite bait stations, better equipment, training, and new ways to communicate with you. The foundation stays the same: friendliness, innovation, trust, consistency, honesty.

FAQ

Questions People Ask About Us

About the Business

Is Alabama Termite & Pest Services family owned?

Yes. Ken and Deborah Estes own and operate the company. Family members answer the phone, perform inspections, and do the service.

How long has your family been in pest control?

Our family has worked in Alabama pest control since 1963. Today the second generation owns and runs the company and the third generation works alongside them.

Are you licensed and insured in Alabama?

Yes. Alabama Termite & Pest Services holds Alabama Department of Agriculture & Industries business license #12246 and individual applicator permit #7000240, and carries general liability insurance.

Who will come to my home?

A technician from the office closest to you. Many customers see the same technician visit after visit, and you will meet several of the people on this page in person. Every product is applied according to its EPA-registered label.

Pest Control Services

What pest control services do you offer?
Is the inspection free?

Yes. You get a free inspection, clear findings, and your options before any treatment begins. Requests are answered within 12 hours during business hours.

How often should I get pest control in Alabama?

Quarterly service fits most Alabama homes and is what we recommend by default. Monthly service is available for heavier pressure, wooded or low-lying lots, or properties where quarterly has not held. Pest control plans have no fixed term, and you can cancel anytime.

What about my pets and kids?

Tell the office before the visit about pets, aquariums, beehives, garden beds, or anyone in the home with sensitivities. That changes what the technician recommends and how it is applied. Before treatment, you are told what is being applied and where. After treatment, you get re-entry guidance for pets and children.

What if I still see pests between visits?

Call the office and we come back at no charge. Give the last treatment 14 days first, since most products need that long to reach the nest. After day 14, the return visit is free and part of your plan.

Is termite control different from general pest control?

Yes. Termites are structural pests, so termite protection is written as a separate year-to-year agreement. It covers re-treatment, not repair of structural damage. Ask which type you are being quoted, here or anywhere else. Termite coverage details.
